Louise Fama
Longtime Employee of St. Catherine’s Church of Charlestown
Louise S. (Kelly) Fama, a longtime resident of Charlestown, passed away on April 6 at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford. She was 95 years old.
Prior to her retirement, she was a longtime employee of St. Catherine’s Church in Charlestown.
She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph F. Fama; beloved mother of Peggy Tassinari and her late husband, Anthony of Tewksbury and was predeceased by many brothers and sisters. She was the cherished grandmother of Paul and Cheryl Tassinari, both of Tewksbury and Michelle Repoza and her husband, Paul of Chelmsford and is also lovingly survived by her great grandchildren, Madison, AJ, Cassidy and Joshua.
Her Funeral will be held from the Sawyer Funeral Home, 329 Bunker Hill St., Charlestown today, Thursday, April 11 at 9:10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St Francis de Sales Church at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Parking area opposite Funeral Home.
