Jan McGinn
Daughter of late Chelsea Soldiers Home Commandant
Jan (Quigley) McGinn of Concord, formerly of Chelsea and Charlestown, died on, December 30.
She was the daughter of the late Commandant of the Chelsea Soldiers Home, John L. Quigley and his wife, Jean; wife of Paul O. McGinn; mother of Matthew R. and Benjamin L.; sister of John L. Quigley, Jr. and his wife, Sheila of Barrington, RI and Kristen Quigley Coe and her husband, Mark of River Forest, IL; daughter-in-law of John J. McGinn Jr. of Peabody and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday, January 4 from the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord Center, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Concord. Visiting hours will be at the Funeral Home, today, Thursday, January 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart – Newton Scholar’s Program, 785 Centre St., Newton, MA 02458.
