More than 9,000 men, women and children – and many from Charlestown – converged on the Back Bay on Sunday as participants in the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk Against Cancer took place
As usual, it was a huge success honoring friends, family, co-workers, and patients facing all forms of cancer.
Over the past 22 years, the Walk has contributed more than $73 million to support cancer research at Dana-Farber.
Walking against cancer is designed for everyone.
The research at Dana-Farber is designed for everyone as well.
One day, the time will come when cancer has been defeated – and what a great day that will be.
