A Book Signing Event: for “Girl On A Leash: The Healing Power of Dogs, a memoir” by Charlestown resident Betty L. King was held at Bestsellers Cafe, High Street, Medford on May 18. There were 40 people who attended the event.. 100% proceeds of book sales benefited Kitty Connection, an all-volunteer animal rescue organization serving Medford, Charlestown, Malden, Everett and Chelsea.
