BU senior captain Matt Grzelcyk and Harvard senior wing Jim Vesey had a goal and an assist each in the Terriers exciting 6-5 conquest of the Crimson on Jan. 7…Grzelcyk also notched his first career hat trick in a 7-2 BU thumping of UMass…Northeastern junior wing Brendan Collier tallied two assists in the Huskies 3-0 whitewashing of St. Lawrence…Salem St. sophomore wing Danielle Kelley slammed home a goal in the Lady Vikings 3-1 setback to Neumann.

Boston Latin senior wing Will Ahern and junior defenseman Mark Williamson notched an assist each in a 9-1 drubbing of Dracut…Ahern added a goal and an assist in a Wolfpack 3-3 tie with Tewksbury…St. Clement senior sensation Matt Dighton tallied a goal and an assist in a 10-2 loss to St. Bernard…Matignon senior star Rose Sullivan posted a goal and an assist in a 7-0 smack down of Wayland.

HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL

Coach Leo Boucher of Charlestown and his St. Clement squad knocked Pope John XXIII (PJ) from the unbeaten ranks. The entertaining 63-61 overtime contest also saw PJ junior center Patrick Kelly grab 15 rebounds and notch 4 steals…Winchester sophomore guard Liam Fitzpatrick scored 11 points to go along with 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals as the Sachems stormed back from a late-game 10-point deficit to topple Hampshire Regional 63-59…Pope John XXIII freshman forward Renee Wang scored her first varsity points in a 62-32 drubbing of Marian.
