Boston Swears in New City Council

The new Boston City Council took the oath of office from Mayor Martin Walsh on Monday morning in Faneuil Hall. Two new councilors joined the ranks of the legislative body, including Anissa Essaibi-George and Andrea Joy Campbell. The Council began its work shortly after the ceremony, electing Councilor Michelle Wu as its new president during a regular Council meeting.
