Some of this, some of that

Former Providence college hockey star and erstwhile “Townie” Jim Tibbetts has been chosen as the tour director for European Select Teams.  Also helping with the development of ice hockey in Ireland, as well as coaching the Irish National Team at the World Championships, Tibbetts has established deep contacts with coaches throughout Europe.  For the last 15 years, he has been bringing European national teams to the U.S. and American teams to Europe to participate in various tournaments.

Matthew Grzelcyk continues to show promise as a member of the U.S. National Development Under-17 Team.  Currently in the middle of a 2-year commitment to the program, his coaches report that “Matt has a great work ethic, a passion for the game, humility and an even temperament.”   After completion of the program in two years, Grzelcyk will bring his considerable hockey skills to Boston University.

Who was the greatest Charlestown High Hockey team of all time?  Who are some of the best players from each decade?  If anyone has any thoughts or opinions on this question, I’d love to hear them.
