The Charlestown Crusaders (fifth and sixth graders) of the North Shore Youth Football League, pictured above, became the first-ever “Townie” team to play in the league championship game. Despite losing to heavily-favored Peabody, the Crusadersfinished the season with a 7-3 record and were sensational ambassadors for the Charlestown Youth Football League program.
