Elise Roth and Matt Alderman danced on Pier 1 in the Navy Yard on Saturday night, Aug. 27, to the swinging music of the Tin Pan Band with the USS Cason Young as their backdrop. The public swing dance was part of a two-day celebration in the Navy Yard last weekend to commemorate the 100th birthday of the National Park Service – with Charlestown taking on a very World War II theme.
