The 188th annual meeting of the Bunker Hill Monument Association will be held on Thursday, June 17, at noon at the Battle of Bunker Hill Museum auditorium, 43 Monument Square. Enter through the Monument Avenue entrance.
The agenda will include the receiving of annual reports, guest speaker J. L. Bell, author of “Behold, the Guns Were Gone!: Four Brass Cannon and the Start of the American Revolution” and the election of officers for the ensuing year.
Applications for membership will be acted upon at the annual meeting. Life-time membership is $25. Persons of any age are welcome to submit applications. In fact, parents and grandparents often enroll their children and grandchildren at a very early age.
Anyone wishing to apply for membership may send a check in the amount of $25, made payable to the Bunker Hill Monument Association, and mail it with your name, address and telephone number to John J. “Jack” Alves, President, 5 Morrison Ave. Beverly, MA 01915-3833 or pay at the meeting.
