On Thursday, May 30 City Councilor Gabriela Coletta (District 1) will chair a virtual Government Operations Committee hearing to discuss a petition for a special law regarding property tax classification in the City of Boston.
This is the second hearing Coletta is chairing on the proposal that seeks to regulate the property tax classification limits in the City of Boston to increase the percentage of tax burden that may be shifted to commercial properties. Public testimony is welcomed during the hearing.
The hearing will take place May 30 on zoom at 10 am or can be viewed on Boston City Council TV.
