Charlestown Little League wrapped up its spring season last weekend, with a dramatic game in the Major League to conclude the season.
In Majors, the McCarthy’s Red Sox were down 4-1 going into the bottom of the 6th inning versus the Boys and Girls Club White Sox, and came back to win the championship 5-4. In AAA, the Knights of Columbus Royals beat the Monument Fitness Padres for the minor league championship.
The two All-Star teams start practicing this week for the Little League District 9 tournament, which will be hosted by Dorchester Little League at McMorrow Park on Victory Road in Dorchester.
The 10 year old tournament schedule is:
•Sunday 6/27, 7pm Charlestown vs Dorchester
•Tuesday 6/29, 7pm South Boston vs Charlestown
•Thursday 7/1, 5:30pm Dorchester vs South Boston
Top two teams advance to the championship series:
•Monday 7/5, 7pm Game 1
•Wednesday 7/7, 7pm Game 2
•Friday 7/9, 7pm Game 3

•Tuesday 7/6, 5:30pm Charlestown vs South Boston
