In a two-game sweep of the Reading Royals, Manchester wing Mike Doherty contributed a goal and an assist. Also, in a two-game sweep of the Worcester Railers, Doherty added two goals and an assist.

St. Joseph freshman forward Patrick Kelly scored his first collegiate points and added a rebound as the Monks destroyed UNE to the tune of 118-81.

Winchester guard Liam Fitzpatrick scored 16 points and earned MVP honors in leading the Sachems past New Mission by a score of 72-61 to capture the Winchester Holiday Tournament…Coach Leo Boucher and host Pope John XXIII captured the PJ Holiday Tourney with an impressive 87-65 pummeling of Winthrop. The Tigers are emerging as one of the dominant teams in Division 4 and are ranked #1 in the North in the most recent Boston Herald poll…In Division 2 North, Winchester is ranked #4.
- GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
In the Boston Herald poll, Braintree and junior forward Adrianna Timberlake were ranked #4 in Eastern Mass and #1 in Division 1 South.
