Tonight at the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia Hillary Clinton will deliver one of the most important speeches of her career. Millions of people will be watching the former First Lady, U.S. Senator, and Secretary of State as she talks about why she wants to be the next President of the United States and what her plans are if she selected to the nation’s highest office.
More than 26 million watched Donald Trump accept the nomination and speak at the Republican Convention last Thursday night in Cleveland. Trump rose to the occasion and gave an excellent speech and he showed restraint as some of the delegates offered some not-too-kind chants about the opposing Presidential candidate. Trump certainly made the entire campaign primary season an interesting one and record-breaking TV ratings for the Republican debates affirmed his ability to draw people into the political arena.
So it should be interesting tonight as Hillary tries to invigorate her supporters with a stirring message of hope and optimism for a Clinton Presidency.
The debates between Trump and Clinton will be “can’t-miss” television. Could the debates decide the right now too-close-to-call Presidential Election? That remains to be seen, but one thing is certain — all of America will be watching these two interesting candidates compete for the Presidency.
