Next Tuesday, Charlestown voters will be going to the polls to elect a new State Representative.
There are two well-known and very capable candidates from Charlestown — Dan Ryan and Chris Remmes.
There is also a third candidate, Roy Avallaneda who is running and comes from Chelsea.
Not since Jimmy Collins was State Representative in the 1970’s does Charlestown have a better opportunity for the next State Representative to be from Charlestown.
We urge all voters to get out and vote. However, the weather may be working against us as a major snowstorm may blanket the area.
Absentee ballots are avaiable from the state until March 3 if you have any questions of making it to the polls
Whichever candidate you support, we urge the voters to get to the polls.
