Red had numerous chances but could not break the shut out.  Flanagan hit the post and crossbar on successive rushes in the third period on pinpoint passing and teamwork.  Charlestown White took the championship but not without a gallant effort by Charlestown Red.  Alas, it was  a win – win for both teams of the Lady Townies and a credit to CYHA and the McGonagle Tournament.
