Police Briefs 12-22-2011

12/12/11 – Breaking and Entering, residence

A victim on High Street reported that a white male wearing a black hat and brown jacket pushed in a rear living room window and entered his home. The homeowner confronted the suspect who fled the scene. Officers searched the area with no results. Nothing was reported missing at this time.

12/12/11 – Breaking and Entering, residence

A victim on Medford Street reported to police that, when he returned home, he saw that the two hundred dollars that he had left on his night stand was gone. There were no signs of forced entry.

12/13/11Unarmed Robbery

A victim on Baldwin Street reported to police that two white males came up behind her, pushed her to the ground and stole her handbag.

12/14/11 – Disorderly Person

As a result of a disturbance on Walker Street, an individual was placed under arrest for being a disorderly person.

12/14/11 – Unarmed Robbery

A victim stated that, while walking on High Street, two suspects knocked her to the ground and began to punch and kick her in an attempt to steal her handbag. During this struggle a bystander observed what was happening and screamed at the suspects causing them to flee. Both suspects, described as black males about 15 years old, fled in the direction of Bunker Hill Street.

12/15/11 – Drugs

As a result of an investigation in the area of Medford Street, an individual was placed under arrest for possession of cocaine.

12/15/11 – Warrant Arrest

Officers on O’Rielly Way placed an individual under arrest for an outstanding Quincy District Court warrant charging numerous drug offenses.

12/16/11 – Breaking and Entering, residence

A victim on Polk Street informed police that someone entered her home through a first floor window and stole a piggy bank containing cash and change.

12/18/11 – Warrant Arrest

Officers on Eighth Street took an individual into custody for an outstanding Chelsea District Court warrant.
