William Coyman

Charlestown resident

William P. “Billy” Coyman of Charlestown died suddenly on Aug. 23.

A retired member of Teamsters Union Local 25, he was a member of the Halligan Club and the Cronin Club.

He was the beloved father of William G. Coyman of California and Johanna Coyman of Lowell; cherished grandfather of John P. Coyman; devoted brother of Joanne M. Morris and the late Richard “Buddy” Coyman, Claire Petto and Gerald “Jerry” Coyman; loving Uncle of 12 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of Nancy Coutu-Coyman and Cathy Kane-Coyman and the beloved son-in-law of Helen Kane; dearest friend of Jimmy Kane, Dennis Kane, Geraldine Fasey, the Pappas Family and the late Marty Kane and Thomas Pynn.

Marjorie McCabe

Member of Daughters of Isabella #1

Marjorie P. (Doherty) McCabe Of Charlestown died on Aug.23.

A member of the Daughters of Isabella #1 and the Old Charlestown Girls Association, she was the beloved wife of the late George J McCabe; devoted mother of Marjorie Whalen and her late husband Thomas, Mary Ellen Magaldi and her husband, Frederick, Elizabeth Simpson and her late husband, Ralph, George F. McCabe and his wife, Eleanor, Dorothy Tingen and her husband, Craig, Patricia Raymond and her husband, Henry, John B. and his late wife, Michelle, Michael P. and his wife Maureen and Charles C. and his wife, Margaret. She was the sister of the late Mary Devine, Anne Collins, Philip and John Doherty and the dear sister in law of Mary (McCabe) Doherty.

Michael Paul Ring

Michael Paul Ring of Charlestown, formerly of Dublin, Ireland, died suddenly on August 21. He was the loving husband and best friend of Joanne (Olsson) Ring; wonderful father of Michael P., Matthew W., William A. and Joshua A. Ring of Charlestown; beloved son of Michael and Marie (Kelly) Ring of Dublin, Ireland; dear brother of Darren, Kenneth, Philip Ring, Michele Lynch, Karen Kelly, all of Dublin, Ireland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mark Giannino

Charlestown resident

Mark A. Giannino of Charlestown died suddenly on Aug. 22. He was 48 years old.

He was the beloved father of Michael Giannino; devoted son of the late Marion T. Richard and Hugo Giannino; loving brother of Paul Giannino and his wife, Santina, Nadine Doherty and her husband, Joe, Anthony Giannino and his wife, Alice, Robert Giannino and his wife, Polinaria and beloved uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Charles Hoffman

Of Peabody, formerly of Charlestown

Charles H. Hoffman of Peabody, formerly of Charlestown and Everett, died at home on Aug. 23 surrounded by his loving family.

“Charlie” was born in Camden, New Jersey. He lived in Charlestown for a number of years before moving to Everett where he lived for over 40 years. For the past seven years, he and his family have been living in Peabody.

A US Navy veteran, he was a retired employee of Kappy’s Liquor and Distribution Company, Everett.

He was the devoted son of the late Harry and Anna (Wedemeyer) Hoffman; beloved husband for more than 60 years of Mary T. (Fama); dear and devoted father of John J. Hoffman and his wife, Ruth Ann of Peabody; loving “Grampy” of Elizabeth Mary Hoffman; special Dad of Nancy Johnson and her husband, Will; dear cousin of Ray Menasion and longtime dear friend of Frank Hansen. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472, would be sincerely appreciated.
