Charlestown Beat

Warrant

08/22/16 – Officers in the area of Main Street took an individual into custody on a Charlestown Court warrant for apprehension.

Larceny

08/23/16 – A victim on Auburn Street reported that Federal Express delivered a package to her home at 4 p.m., but when she returned home at 7 p.m., she saw that the package had been stolen.

Aggravated Assault

08/26/16 – A victim reported while he was stopped at a light in Sullivan Square, a man jumped out of a white van that was next to him and began pounding on the victim’s window, which displayed a Trump sign. The suspect then brandished some type of metal object in his waistband before fleeing the area in the van. The victim provided police with a partial license-plate number.

 

Larceny

08/27/16 – A victim on Third Avenue reported he left his backpack in one of the lockers at the gym, but when he returned, it was gone. The locker had been left unlocked. The incident might have been captured on surveillance cameras, and detectives will investigate.
