CHARLESTOWN BEAT

Warrant

05/23/16 – Officers on Austin Street placed an individual under arrest for an outstanding Boston Municipal Court warrant charging shoplifting.

Larceny

05/25/16 – A victim walked into the District 15 station and reported that on May 23 sometime between 4 and 8 a.m., unknown person(s) entered his worksite at Bunker Hill Industrial Park and stole a number of galvanized steel pipes valued at $7,000. The matter is under investigation.

Larceny-Bicycle

05/26/16 – A victim on Hathon Square reports he locked his red-and-white Cannondale bike under the back stairs of his residence, and when he returned, it was gone. The suspect(s) may have entered through a closed gate.

Burglary – No Force

05/26/16 – A victim on Bunker Hill Street reported someone entered his home and stole his prescription medication. Due to a faulty lock, the door had been open. The Boston Housing Authority was notified

Aggravated Assault

05/28/16 – A victim on 13th Street reported while he was having a discussion with his girlfriend, four males approached them and said, “If this guy is giving you a hard time, we can take care of him for you.”

At this point, two suspects brandished knives in a threatening manner. Both victims then ran into the Massachusetts General Hospital facility, where police were called. Officers were unable to locate any suspects. It was unknown at this time if video of the incident is available.

Larceny – Bicycle

05/28/16 – A victim on Rutherford Avenue reported he left his black XL bike in front of a store and went inside to get a drink, at which time he saw two black males flee with the bike down Rutherford Avenue. The incident was captured on video.
