Helen Connolly

Helen M. (McGonagle) Connolly of Charlestown died on August 3. She was 77 years old.

A retired employee of the Devonshire Street, Boston office of N.E. Tel. & Tel. Co, she was the beloved wife of 55 years to Eugene “Money” Connolly; devoted mother of Karen Johnson and her husband, Eric, Ann Connolly and her companion, Bruce Conley, Kevin Connolly and his wife, Robin and Kathleen Foley and her husband, Brian; loving grandmother of Kevin, Erin, Sara, Ava, Kate and Samantha; beloved sister of Charlie McGonagle and his wife Mary, Leo McGonagle and his companion, Mary Devlin and Paul McGonagle. She  is also survived by her granddogs: Bugsy, Olive and Riley.

Joan Connors-McLaughlin

Of Somerville, formerly of Charlestown

Joan V. (Lawrence) Connors-McLaughlin of Somerville, formerly of Charlestown, died on July 27.

She was the devoted mother of Carol Dunham of Ocean Isle Beach, N.C., Joan McLaughlin of East Wareham and Neil McLaughlin and Janet McLaughlin, both of Charlestown; loving grandmother of Christine Waters, Daniel Johnson, Patrick Goodgame, Colleen Goodgame, Cara Shea, Kaleigh Shea, Jason Dunham, Jessica Dunham and Jeffrey Dunham; great grandmother of Kenny Del Valle, Emmett Waters and Kaylin Dunham and sister of Raymond Lawrence of Florida and the late John Lawrence.

Funeral arrangements were by the John H. Sawyer Funeral Home, Charlestown. Burial was in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.

Jeff Burton

Of Wareham, Formerly of Charlestown

Jeff Burton of Wareham, formerly of Charlestown, died on August 5. He was 45 years old.

He was the beloved husband of Carmela M. (Ternullo) Burton; devoted son of the late Frances (Doherty) and John “Joe” Burton; loving brother of John Burton, Joseph Burton, Beth Taglilatela and James Burton; beloved son-in-law of Carmela Ternullo and the late Giovanni Ternullo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
