Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital has again been recognized as one the top rehabilitation hospitals in the country, achieving a rank of #2 in the 2020 US News and World Report “America’s Best Hospitals” issue, matching its highest rank ever. Spaulding has steadily ascended from a #14 position back in the year 2000 achieving its third straight top three ranking.
Spaulding continues to be the only rehabilitation hospital in New England ranked each year since 1995.

Spaulding continues to expand its efforts on an international level as well as a leader in advocacy and research. The Harvard Medical School Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Spaulding has been the top overall rehabilitation medicine residency program in the Doximity Residency Navigator. Spaulding was also recently honored by DisabilityIN as “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion” with a top score on the Disability Employment Index for the third year in a row.
