Assault and Battery

09/24/12 – A victim on Ninth Street stated to officers that he was forced to terminate the suspect due to poor work performance. The suspect then punched the victim in the head, stole some copper and fled the area. Detectives were scheduled to investigate.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Gun

09/26/12 – Officers responded to Medford Street for an assault-and-battery report. The victim’s mother stated that about 4 p.m., four black males approached her son on Bunker Hill Street. One suspect pulled out a black handgun and pointed it in the victim’s direction. Another suspects then punched the victim in the face, knocking him to the ground. The other suspects then began to kick him before fleeing the area. The matter is under investigation.

Investigate Property

09/27/12 – A resident of Polk Street informed officers that about 1a.m., she heard a male and a female outside her rear window, talking about breaking in through the window. She stated she did not actually see the suspects. Officers searched the area, but did not locate anyone.

Vandalism

09/28/12 – As a result of a car being “keyed” on Lawrence Street, a suspect was placed under arrest for vandalism to a motor vehicle.

Warrant Arrest

09/29/12 – Officers on Main Street placed an individual under arrest for a Lynn District Court warrant charging shoplifting.
