Police Briefs 05-26-2011

05/20/11 – Open/Gross Lewdness

A victim reported that, while walking near Rutherford Avenue and Sullivan Square, a silver sports utility vehicle pulled up next to her. Thinking the driver had a question she looked over.  The suspect then raised his hips exposing himself to her before driving off.

05/19/11 – Larceny

A victim on Main Street stated that someone removed the driver’s side front and rear wheels from her motor vehicle.

05/20/11 – Assault and Battery by means of Dangerous Weapon, Knife

Officers responded to Main Street for a report of a person stabbed. Upon arrival officers were informed by the victim that a white male threw a rock that smashed his storefront window. When confronted the suspect brandished a knife and slashed the victim on the right arm. The suspect, who fled on Main Street,  is known to officers.

05/20/11 – Trespassing

A suspect on Old Landing Way was placed under arrest for trespassing.

05/21/11 –  Robbery, Unarmed

Victim on Bunker Hill Street reported to police that while waiting for the bus she was knocked to the ground by at least two individuals. The suspects then took her handbag and fled the area.
