Boston Uncommon: The Boston You Know By Heart, the Artists’ Group of Charlestown Fall 2026 Exhibition!
We all know the Boston in postcards. This isn’t that show.
Not the skyline or the tourist stops, but the details that make someone say, “That’s so Boston.”
A neighborhood tradition. A corner store. A familiar sign. A local saying. An everyday object. The things an outsider might overlook, but a Bostonian would recognize instantly.
Over 60 works were accepted to the Fall show which was curated by Stephanie Mobbs Deady. The opening reception will be held on Friday, October 2 from 5-8p.m. At the Stove Factory Gallery, 523 Medford Street. There is on street parking and parking in the lot at 511 Medford St. in the designated spots that say “511 Medford Street” on weekends during the exhibition. There is signage on the fence. Do not park in the lot between the Gallery building and the Knights of Columbus. Additional gallery hours are Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 3, 4, 10 , 11, 17 and 18, from 12 – 5 p.m.
