Since 1981 the Charlestown Schoolgirls have been active in bettering the community and raising money for scholarships to promising students.
This year 61 scholarships totaling $65,500 were dispersed. The Luncheon celebrated the neighborhood organization and its mission to the young women of Charlestown.
