Former Charlestown resident Margaret Klessens celebrated her 102nd Birthday recently at the Soldiers Home in Chelsea. Margaret was given a special commendation from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Veterans Affairs. The award was presented by Deputy Andrea Gayle-Bennett who is in the group picture along with Christine Baldini, the Superintendent of the Veterans/Soldiers Home in Chelsea.
