Entrance and exit to and from the North End and Charlestown!

As a former North Ender and current long-time Charlestown resident, like others, I now have a beautiful bridge that connects two of Boston’s most historic neighborhoods. The two neighborhoods also possess weekday-morning and late-afternoon traffic over our new Bill Russell Bridge.
On both sides of the bridge are attractive walkways with outstanding write-ups of people and events. Over the roadways are signs helping the drivers on their journeys (see below).
What is missing is Bill Russell’s name. Why does it not appear over the four lanes of traffic? Soon it will be a year since the bridge has been named, but those riding over the bridge’s roadways may have no idea it is named for one of Boston’s favorite Celtics and a multi-winner of NBA Championships and MVP awards as well as a social justice activist.
When can we expect the long awaited Bill Russell sign to announce and identify the dedication to drivers travelling between the North End and Charlestown?
