Carr of Charlestown Named to University of Alabama  Presidents List

Isabella Carr was named to The University of Alabama Presidents List for Fall Semester 2025.

A total of 15,388 students enrolled during Fall Semester 2025 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s). These driven students are making waves across UA’s more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools.

The UA dean’s and president’s lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Dean’s List honors announced at Tufts University

Tufts University recently announced the dean’s list for the fall 2025 semester. Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

Connors of Charlestown Named to the Regis College Fall 2025 Dean’s List

Regis College today recognizes Lindsay Connors, of Charlestown, whose academic excellence and commitment to learning have earned them a place on the fall 2025 Dean’s List.

To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher. First-year students qualify with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.

“Earning recognition on the Dean’s List reflects the discipline, curiosity, and perseverance students bring to their academic work,” said Mary Erina Driscoll, PhD, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs. “At Regis, learning is not just about mastering coursework but about developing the intellectual rigor and sense of purpose that will guide students long after graduation.”

Local residents named to Clark University’s Fall 2025 Dean’s List

The following local residents were named to Clark University’s Fall 2025 Dean’s List:

Sophia C. Wall, of Charlestown, Mass. (02129), was named to second honors.

Cam P. Fox, of Charlestown, Mass. (02129), was named to first honors.

Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors or a GPA between 3.50 and 3.79 for second honors.

Sullivan Named to Hamilton College Dean’s List

Margaret Sullivan, of Charlestown  has been named to the Dean’s List at Hamilton College for the fall 2025 semester.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be a current member of the Class of 2026 or 2027, have carried a course load of four or more graded credits throughout the semester, and earned an average GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Sullivan, a senior majoring in economics, is a graduate of Thayer Academy.

Gardiner Named to SNHU  President’s List

Zachary Gardiner of Charlestown  has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s (SNHU) Fall 2025 President’s List. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Local Residents Named to Dean’s List for Fall 2025 Semester 

Saint Anselm College has released the Dean’s List of high academic achievers for the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year. To be eligible for this honor, a student must have achieved a grade point average of 3.4 or better in the semester with at least 12 credits of study which award a letter grade. This semester there were a total of 702 students from 25 states, the District of Colombia, and 3 countries.

Mark W. Cronin, Dean of the College, announced that the following student from Charlestown  

 Oliver Bryan, studying Criminal Justice Major has  been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2025 semester at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Founded in 1889, Saint Anselm College is a four-year liberal arts college providing a 21st century education in the Catholic, Benedictine tradition. Located in southern New Hampshire near Boston and the seacoast, Saint Anselm is well known for its strong liberal arts curriculum, the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, a highly successful nursing program, a legacy of community service and a commitment to the arts. 

UW-MADISON ANNOUNCES FALL DEAN’S LIST

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized student Sophie Reinfeld of Charlestown named to the College of Letters and Sciences Dean’s List for the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester. Each university school or college sets its own GPA requirements for students to be eligible to receive the distinction.
