Mary Louise Doenges
Of Florida, formerly of Charlestown
Mary Louise Doenges, born to the late Gerhard Doenges and Elli (Poth) Doenges on July 24, 1941 passed away on July 23, surrounded by family. She lived in Charlestown before moving to Port Orange, Fla.
She is survived by her children: Ronnie Hamilton, Jr., Shirley M. Hamilton, Sheila (Hamilton) Fucci and her husband, Peter, Johnny R. Hamilton and his wife, Janet, Stacy Doenges, Scott Doenges, David Doenges, and wife, Debra, and Domenic Rowell; predeceased by son, Frank Doenges and survived by siblings: Gerhard Doenges, Gretchen Doenges(Morrison), Donald Doenges, Rudolph Doenges, AnnaleiseDoenges (Kirk) and her husband, Ed and predeceased by her brother, Johannes Doenges.
She was a loving Nana/Oma to many grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, and nephews and friends and family from as far away as Germany. She was a very caring and loving person who was a foster parent to many and also spent many years as Girl Scouts leader.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Church, 27 Devens St., Charlestown, on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 1 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
