Larceny from a Motor Vehicle
04/19/18 – Officers responded to First Avenue and 13th Street for a report of a person breaking into a car. As a result of the information received, police were able to locate a suspect who was positively identified by the victim. The suspect was placed under arrest, and will be charged accordingly.
Disturbing the Peace- Arson
04/20/18 – Officers responded to Walford Way for a person with a knife. Further investigation revealed the suspect had disconnected the gas line to the stove and was attempting to use a lighter to ignite the gas. Officers were able to secure the suspect without further incident. He was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital for an evaluation, and will be charged accordingly.
Drugs
04/22/18 – As a result of a drug investigation in the area of Soley Street, an individual was placed under arrest for possession of a Class B substance (cocaine).
