Remembering Pearl Harbor

Charlestown’s Bob Gillen – retired commander of the USS Constitution – stands at attention as he calls in the Color Guard during last Thursday’s (Dec. 7) Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day on the decks of the Cassin Young in the Navy Yard. A large crowd turned out for the annual ceremony, along with two survivors of Pearl Harbor – who tossed out the memorial wreaths onto Boston Harbor.
