Charlestown Beat

Larceny

12/04/17 – A victim on Rutherford Avenue reported a female who made a purchase at his place of business removed a credit card from the counter. The suspect then left the premises and fled in a Toyota driven by a black male. A surveillance video of the incident will be reviewed.

Larceny

12/06/17 – A victim on Bartlett Street reported unknown person(s) stole a package that had been left on the side of his residence. The open package was found by a nearby home.

Burglary – Commercial – Attempt

12/09/17 – A victim on Main Street reported unknown person(s) smashed a large hole in the window of her shop in an unsuccessful effort to gain entry. The store has been burglarized in the past.

 

Robbery

12/11/2017 – A victim on Medford Street reported a black male wearing a black jacket followed him down a stairwell, brandished a black handgun and demanded money. The victim complied before the suspect fled the area. The suspect was briefly chased by a friend of the victim’s, but made good on his escape. The matter is under investigation.
