A consortium of Charlestown affiliates in Partners HealthCare System will award $6,000 in scholarships to high school seniors from Charlestown pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in health care.
Eligible students for the Charlestown Partners Health Care Merit Scholarship must have lived in Charlestown for at least two years, be a first-year, first-degree student who will attend college in fall 2015, and have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Applicants must be enrolled in a program of study leading to a health career at the associate degree level or higher. Applications also must include an essay that demonstrates the applicant’s leadership qualities through community service.
The deadline is May 1, 2015. All applicants will be notified of the final decision of the selection committee by email by June 1, 2015.
