Breaking and Entering

03/10/14 – A victim on Pleasant Street reported while at home, she heard a male swearing in a loud voice and her lawn patio furniture being moved.

Upon investigating, she found a male suspect had made his way through a rear door into the common hallway. The suspect, who was unsteady on his feet and appeared intoxicated, was still on scene when police arrived, at which time he was taken into custody.

Drugs

03/13/14 – As a result of a drug investigation in the area of Carney Court, two individuals were placed under arrest for possession of a Class C substance (pills).

Violation of the Auto Laws

03/15/14 – As a result of a traffic stop on Rutherford Avenue, an individual was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license

Larceny – Over $200

03/14/14 – A victim on Medford Street reported that someone entered the rear lot of his business and stole an orange 1999 Halla front-end loader, valued at $45,000. Footage from security cameras will be viewed by area detectives.

Firearm – Weapon Possession

03/16/14 – Officers responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of Monument Street and Walford Way.

A description of a suspect was broadcast, and a short time later, officers observed a male fitting that description near Old Ironsides Way. As a result of the subsequent investigation, the suspect was placed under arrest after he was found to be in possession of a black Ruger .45 caliber handgun.
