Police Briefs 10-03-2013

Robbery – Unarmed

09/15/13 – A victim on Tufts Street reported she had an altercation with a black female, during which her cell phone was stolen. The suspect is known to police, and complaints will be sought in court.

Larceny- Bicycle

09/26/13 – A victim on Eighth Street reported unknown person(s) cut the lock off his black Trek mountain bike that was secured to an indoor garage bike rack and stole the bike. The security video will be checked.

Larceny

09/26/13 – A victim on Russell Street reported that they observed a white male carrying copper piping from their backyard and placing it in a motor vehicle parked near the residence. The victim was able to provide information on the suspect’s vehicle, and detectives are investigating.

Breaking and Entering – Non-Residence

09/26/13 – A victim on Bunker Hill Street reported someone jimmied open the front door of his business, entered and stole jewelry, DVDs and assorted hair products. Detectives are investigating.

Shoplifting

09/27/13 – Officers in the area of Austin Street placed an individual under arrest for stealing $500 worth of cosmetics from the local CVS Pharmacy.

Larceny – Bicycle

09/27/13 – A victim reported she locked her black KHS bike to a pole in Monument Square. When she returned, the lock was still there, but the bike was gone.
