Assault and Battery

06/10/13 – A victim reported while crossing the street near 529 Main St., he “had words” with the operator of a Ford truck. The driver exited his motor vehicle and punched the victim in the mouth before fleeing the scene. Detectives, with the help of the victim and witnesses, identified the operator of the truck. Complaints will be sought in Charlestown Court.

Larceny

06/10/13 – A victim on Austin Street reported while his unoccupied truck was parked, someone stole the vehicle’s back/rear gate.

Violation of the Auto Laws

06/12/13 – As a result of a traffic stop on Austin Street, an individual was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle after revocation/suspension. The suspect also had an outstanding Quincy Court warrant charging larceny.

06/13/13 – As a result of a traffic stop on Medford Street, an individual was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle after revocation/suspension.

Breaking and Entering – Non-Residence

06/14/13 – A victim on Cambridge Street reported when he returned to his store after the weekend, he observed that the rear door was open. A safe had been cut out of the wall, and the computers were also missing, including one that runs the security system. A second safe was also missing. Detectives are investigating.

Drugs

06/17/13 – As a result of an investigation in the area of Medford Street, an individual was placed under arrest for possession of a Class B substance (cocaine) with intent to distribute.
