Volunteers Needed for Annual Boston Shine Cleanup, April 27

Local organizers for the 11th annual Boston Shine Cleanup planned on April 27 are looking for volunteers.

Most clean ups begin by 10. Supplies are provided but additional rakes, dustpans, gardening tools are welcome! Following is a list of areas being sponsored. Please join your neighbors here or call to schedule a new pickup location.

Harvard Mall – Clean up playground, lower area

Warren Prescott – Cleanup school yard

Peter Looney Park – Cleanup playground

Pathway – “Candy Cane Pathway” by Rutherford

Training Field Park

Cook Street Park Cleanup

Sullivan Square Extensive Cleanup

Austin Street and Main Street. Cleanup, plantings

Little Mystic – Cleanup on beach

Navy Yard – Neighborhood Cleanup

Rutherford Ave – Mishawum Park-Essex Street

Main and Bunker Hill around GFC

Doherty Park-  Bunker Hill St & Saint Martin St

Harvard Kent – Cleanup school yard

Main Street –  Outside businesses

Mishawum –  Their property

Eden Street Park
