Breaking and Entering
12/25/2012 – At around 4:33 p.m., the victim reports unknown person(s) broke into her house on Corey Street.
Fire
12/25/2012 – Officers responded to Main Street at around 5:21 p.m. for a report of a building fire.
On arrival, police observed smoke coming from the building, and upon further investigation, learned that the fire was the result of careless disposal of a cigarette.
Assault with a Dangerous Weapon on a Police Officer
12/28/201 – Officers responded to Cambridge Street at around 1:23 a.m. for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, the officers observed several Massachusetts State Police cruisers, along with Somerville Police officers, as they detained several black males. The officers discovered upon further investigation, that a large fight took place at the Holiday Inn in Somerville prior to the alleged gunfire. The officers also found some ballistic evidence at the scene.
One suspect became hostile towards police and kicked an officer. The suspect also attempted to remove the officer’s firearm from his holster. The suspect was eventually subdued and transported to the station.
Drugs
12/28/2012 – The District A-1 Drug Control Unit arrested a suspect on Tufts Street at around 10:30 a.m.
Warrant Arrest
01/03/2013 – A suspect was arrested on Old Ironsides Way at around 11:30 a.m. on a warrant issued out of Charlestown District Court.
Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
01/05/2013 – Officers responded to Main Street on a report of a person struck by a motor vehicle.
Upon arrival, police met and spoke with the victim, who stated he was involved in a verbal confrontation with an unknown male driving a dark motor vehicle. The suspect then allegedly struck the victim with his motor vehicle and fled the scene.
The victim transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Drugs
01/05/2013 – The District A-1 Drug Control Unit arrested a suspect on High Street on a drug offense.
Gathering Causing Annoyance
01/06/2013 – Officers responded to Walford Way at around 3:06 a.m. for a report of a loud party.
Upon arrival, police heard loud music coming from the second-floor apartment and attempted to speak with the occupants. An unknown female answered the door before slamming it in officers’ faces.
The Boston Housing Authority will further investigate the incident.
