The lobby of Zelma Lacey House was abuzz with students from the Warren Prescott, on site to celebrate the annual award winners for the Christmas Card Contest. Each year the school partners with Zelma Lacey House for its annual Christmas Card Contest in which students of all grades submit entries of cards with themes that represent their feelings toward the holiday season. This year the theme was Love and what it means to you during the holiday season. All cards received for judging were brilliant, colorful, and so inspiring. Six cards were chosen as the award winners for 2012. The First Prize was awarded to Andrew McDonald, Second Prize to Addison Jenkins, and four Honorable Mention Awards to Katie Evans, Sydney Crane, Hazel Collier, and Cate McLaughlin. This year the judging panel included not only Zelma Lacey House staff and residents, but also a Student Judge, Laurel Nyhan, who was 2011 First Prize Winner.
