Helen ‘Marcy’ Gauthier

Of Somerville and Charlestown

Helen M. “Marcy” Gauthier of Somerville and Charlestown died on May 18.

She was the daughter of the late Lester and Mary H. (MacDonald) Gauthier; granddaughter of the late Harry and Mary MacDonald; loving sister of Marie V. Murphy and the late Frank J. Gauthier; niece of John and Florence MacDonald and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Memorial donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Avenue, Somerville MA 02143.

Francis ‘Brother’ Keane

Charlestown resident

Francis P. “Brother” Keane of Charlestown died on May 14.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Addison) Keane; father of Francis P. Keane, Jr. and the late Sharon Marino; brother of Edward Keane, Peggy Melanson, Nancy Jackson and the late Bonnie Sacco and Kay Cadigan; beloved grandfather of Michael Marino, Rory and Michelle Fitzgerald, Nicole and David DeMaio, Matthew and Christopher Keane. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the John H. Sawyer Funeral Home, Charlestown. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Old Charlestown Schoolboys Association, P.O. Box 290375, Charlestown, MA 02129.

Anna Grzelcyk

Anna T. (Murphy) Grzyelcyk of Charlestown died on May 15. She was 86 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph C. Grzelcyk; devoted mother of John Grzelcyk and his wife, Kathleen, of Charlestown, Joseph Grzelcyk and his wife, Cynthia, of Watertown, Donna Devlin and her husband, Daniel, of Charlestown and Stephen Grzelcyk and his wife, Janet, of Tewksbury; loving grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of five and the beloved sister of Dorothy Foley of Charlestown.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Frank H. Carr Funeral Home, Charlestown. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
