The Charlestown Business Association (CBA) and the Charlestown Retail Organization (CRO) have decided to merge and become “The Charlestown Chamber of Commerce.” The Chamber will proceed with the current CBA Board and over the course of the next month, the newly formed Chamber will invite former CRO Members to join the Board so that it has a true representation and reflection of businesses from all neighborhoods in Charlestown. The Chamber will sponsor 12 Networking Evening Events on the second Wednesday of each month; and 12 Business Initiative Luncheons on “Pertinent Topics Facing our Various Businesses,” on the fourth Wednesday of each month. The Chamber will also publish a comprehensive Membership Directory. CBA Board Member Abby Gray thinks, “It is time to elevate our amazing business and professional community and deliver resources and tools for Membership in the Chamber. Businesses need tools and support to open, grow and thrive.
