District A-1 has received recent information that UPS, FedEx, and U.S. Mail packages that have been left unattended at the door steps of residences in Charlestown have been stolen without the intended recipient of the mail packages having any knowledge of their arrivals.
There is also a report of an anonymous person signing for packages that do not belong to that person.
Make certain that you communicate to the carrier that, in order for the package to be dropped off at the residence, someone must be present at the residence and that the recipient of the package must have an ID and proof of residency.
