10/12/10 – Breaking and Entering, Residence

A victim on Old Landing Way stated that his family went out for about an hour but left the kitchen sliding glass door slightly ajar. Upon returning home they saw that the door was open and their flat screen T.V. was missing. Security will check the video tapes to help in the investigation.

10/12/10 – Arson

A victim on Main Street reported that after an argument with a neighbor in his building he smelt smoke outside his unit. Upon opening the door he observed a fire burning in the hallway. Officers spoke to the suspect who stated he lit the fire because he was angry. Suspect was transported to M.G.H. for an evaluation and was subsequently placed under arrest by the Boston Police Fire Investigation Unit.

10/13/10– Breaking and Entering, Residence

A victim on Main Street reported that someone entered her home and stole her T.V. Officers found no signs of forced entry. It is possible that a person who was staying in the apartment with the victim is responsible. Detectives are investigating this matter.

10/13/10 – Disorderly Person

As a result of a disturbance on Medford Street, an individual was taken into custody and charged with being a disorderly person.

10/13/10 – Larceny in a Bulding

As a result of an investigation into a laptop that was stolen on Medford Street, officers were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody. The laptop was recovered.

10/13/10 – Liquor, Involving Minors

As a result of a radio call for kids drinking in the Eden Street Park area a female was taken into custody and charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol.

10/16/10 – Warrant Arrest

Officers in the area of Sullivan Square identified a female known to them to be wanted on a violation of probation warrant. After a brief chase and violent struggle the suspect was taken into custody. She will also be charged with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.
