Bourbon War Finishes Belmont
Charlestown’s Mark Sullivan, one of the owners of Thoroughbred Bourbon War, reported that the horse had a good run in the Belmont Stakes last Saturday, June 8.
However, despite very favorable betting odds before the race, the horse hit a snag and finished 10th. Bourbon War entered the season with high expectations and also raced in the Preakness, missing out on the Kentucky Derby by only a few points.
