  1. MICHAEL QUINN SCHOLARSHIP GOLF TOURNEY

Early last month the Quinn Scholarship celebrated its 23rd annual golf tournament. It was a gorgeous, sunny day out on the William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park followed by great food with friends at Florian Hall. Thanks to everyone who came out.

CHARLESTOWN YOUTH FOOTBALL/CHEER

Come join a championship youth football and cheering program.

The Townies have won titles in both football in cheering in recent years. We are hopeful to have the opportunity to compete again. We are still accepting sign-ups for the following ages:

1-2 Cheer & Flag Football

3-4 Cheer & Tackle Football

5-6 Cheer & Tackle Football

7-8 Cheer & Tackle Football

We practice at Charlestown high school three nights a week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6-8 p.m.

Registration is just $75 and there are scholarships for those in need!

TOWNIES

UMASS (2-1-1) junior midfielder Christian Labeck logged 22 solid minutes in a Minutemen 3-0 pasting of Bryant… St. Joseph ME sophomore Patrick Kelly belted two hits (including a double), scored a run, stole a base, and tallied three putouts in right field in the Monks fall baseball intramural season-opener…Newbury junior defenseman Nicole Goncalves blasted a shot on goal in the Nighthawks 5-0 setback to SUNY.

TOWNIE ROOTS 

Assumption (0-1) junior receiver Justin Assad hauled in a 6-yard reception during the Greyhounds 32-28 setback to Kutztown…Worcester St. (1-2) senior All Conference setter Allie Nolan is at it again; Allie posted an eye-popping 82 assists in the first three contests while the rest of the Lancers volleyball team combined for 14 assists.
