A Charlestown Police Appreciate Night, sponsored by a Grateful Community, will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 6 to 7:30 pm at the Charlestown Boys & Girls Club’s 60 High Sreet building. Current and former officers who are/have served in Charlestown have been invited to attend.
All residents of Charlestown are urged to attend to show support and gratitude for these officers.
Refreshments and games for all ages will be offered.
A brief speaking program is scheduled. Peter Nash, Director of the Boston Boys and Girls Club and Police Commissioner William Evans are scheduled to say a few words.
The Boys & Girls Charlestown Club House is hosting the event, but all funding has been donated in your name from Charlestown residents. This is a tribute to the Boston Police Officers from the residents of Charlestown. Please make every effort to attend and show you support and appreciation.
