The annual sidewalk sale at St. John’s Episcopal Church is scheduled for Saturday, September 26th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the church yard at 27 Devens Street in Charlestown. In case of rain, the sale will be held inside the parish house next to the church. The sale is sponsored by the Garden Club and the Episcopal Club for Women and proceeds will be used for various projects in the parish. There will be many interesting items sold that day including white elephant items, jewelry, small appliances, dishes, books and other surprises. Donations may be brought to St. John’s Parish house on Thursday, September 24st from 9 until 2 and on Friday, September 25nd from 4-7 pm. All items must be in good condition and no clothing or bedding will be accepted.
Everyone is encouraged to donate white elephant items and small working appliances for this sale as they will not be sold at the November Harvest Fair this year.
