Police Briefs 01-09-2014

Larceny – Over $200

01/01/13 – The victim reported while he was at a business on Cambridge Street, unknown person(s) stole his Samsung Galaxy X4 cell phone, which was left on a table. Using a built-in tracking device on the phone, the location was shown to be a building on Morton Street in Dorchester. Police responded to that location, but were unable to locate the phone or a suspect.

Indecent Exposure

01/04/13 – A victim on McNulty Court reported at about 7 p.m., she observed a black male engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior on the pathway outside her window. The suspect fled prior to the arrival of police. The victim further stated she has seen the suspect in the area before. The matter is under investigation.

Attempted Robbery – Knife

01/05/13 – A taxi driver, reported he pulled onto Walford Way to pick up a fare when a white male wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt walked up to his window, brandished a knife and demanded money.

The victim refused to give the suspect his money and grabbed the knife. A second suspect was also on scene and made mention of having a gun, but none was shown. The victim fled the area in his taxi and drove to a local fire station.

The victim suffered lacerations to his left hand. Detectives are investigating.

Warrant Arrest

01/06/13 – Officers in the area of Walford Way placed an individual under arrest for an outstanding Cambridge Court warrant charging larceny over $200 and shoplifting
