Robbery-Firearm

04/16/13 – A victim reported while he was walking on Main Street near Green Street at around at about 9:30 p.m., four black or Hispanic males approached him. Two of the suspects held him from behind while the other two faced him. One suspect then pointed a black handgun at him and stated, “Give me your phone.”

The victim complied, and the suspects fled down High Street towards Green Street. Detectives are investigating.

Breaking and Entering – Residence

04/17/13 – A victim reported when she returned to her Tremont Street home at about 2:20 p.m., she entered through her rear door and heard someone moving down the stairs at a rapid pace. The suspect, whom the victim only saw from the back, then fled out the front door.

Various pieces of jewelry were reportedly stolen from the residence, and evidence was taken from the home to be processed by A-1 detectives.

Drinking in Public

04/17/13 – At about 9 p.m., officers responded to the Doherty Playground on Bunker Hill Street for a report of kids drinking in the park and placed two suspects under arrest for drinking in public. The suspects will also be charged with trespassing.

Assault and Battery

04/20/13 – At about 9 p.m., officers responded to Decatur Street for an assault and battery in progress. Upon arrival, police spoke to a tow-truck driver, who stated while in the process of towing a car, the vehicle’s owner approached the driver and began to push him.

The owner was allegedly upset his car was being towed, even the he did not have a permit.
